This section provides key to the Romanization of common words and phrases in Eastern and Western Armenian. All tables were prepared by Nora Avetyan (UCLA) and are made available on a trial basis.
The Committee on Cataloging invites all Armenian catalogers to study the tables below, and to send their comments, and suggestions for additions to the Committee.
Please bear in mind that the Romanization scheme of these tables is the one used by the Library of Congress, and most North American academic libraries.
